Right now I’m in New Jersey having just come from a conference in Miami. I’ve got a bit of sniffle – first time in years! I’m relaxing into the sniffle, it’ll pass. And, I want you to stay healthy so here’s the treat I told you about last week.
I’m a lover of holistic therapies and Ayurveda in a very practical way. If there’s an easy technique that will make a massive difference to your life I’ll find it and share it. I don’t plan on sending you out at dawn to collect snails or bathe in moonlight; instead I bring an easy recipe right to your kitchen.

Golden Milk – delicious, nutritious and great before bed!
Here’s what you can expect when you drink it:
- Beat colds & flu
- Ease depression
- Good for digestion
- Liver detox
- Anti-cancer properties
- Milk (a cup or mug to suit). You can use almond, coconut, dairy, or goat’s milk.
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- Slice of fresh ginger
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 spoon coconut oil
- Optional: black pepper, honey
I want to feel great now, how do I make it?
- Warm the milk and (don’t boil). Add turmeric. Stir.
- Add cinnamon. Stir.
- Add coconut oil.
- When nicely warmed pour into your mug. Add black pepper and/or honey/ginger to suit.
- Let it sit until infused
- Cosy up in your chair and drink up the benefits!
I love the taste and if it’s new for you then get creative so you love it too! Add more or less of each ingredient until you find what you enjoy. Turmeric is the key ingredient. There are multiple recipes online, though I like to keep mine simple like the one above.
