My four (and a half) year old nephew came to visit at the weekend.
Auntie So-phi-a, what’s in that big basket?
Nothing of any real interest I replied gently as I sat down to
continue a conversation with my sister.
It’s of interest to me, he reasoned. There was no arguing with his logic.
Together we opened it up revealing an array of inspiring photographs, journals, and magazines. His beady eyes spotted the ‘pray-doh’. He is still mastering the pronunciation of the letter L.
The pray-doh dutifully came out. We made shapes with it, dropped bits on the floor, put it in the wrong tubs and pretended to eat it like cake.
It also occurred to me that pray-doh really is just that. We manifest and create the lives we want based on our ideas and creating them in reality.
If I were to make myself a vibrant red audi out of pray-doh, is it more likely to appear in my life? If I make it a priority and a goal then yes.
Now it’s your time to ‘pray’, what will you make?
